You can now create custom fields at the project level, not just the client level.
A lot of the data firms track actually changes project to project, or needs to follow a recurring series over time: in dates, out dates, extension deadlines, who's preparing vs. reviewing, a link to that engagement's workpaper folder, and more.

Project custom fields give you a place to put that information, right on the project itself.
What's new:
  • Create up to 10 project-level custom fields, using any of the same field types available for clients - Text, Dropdown (single/multi), Pill (single/multi), Badge (single/multi), URL Link, Firm Member (single/multi), and Date Picker.
  • Add or edit field values from an individual project profile, at the series level so updates carry forward across a recurring engagement, or directly inline on the Projects table (permission dependent).
  • Use project custom fields as columns and filters on the Projects page to find and sort work by the attributes that matter to your firm.
  • Mark Text fields as sensitive to keep them masked until revealed on the project profile.
Where to find it:
Head to the Projects tab and click Custom Fields near the top of the screen to get started.
