Is there a way to change the color of the name icon/thumbnail?

I've searched high and low but the search terms are so general that I can't find anything. Anyway, it's just me and one other person whose name also starts with an "A". Our name icon is the same color and starts with A, so it all just looks like one person doing everything.

We don't want to upload images - it would be easiest to just be able to change the color of the dot/circle.
